In 1827, the Mumm Brothers moved in the Champagne region. In 1853, George Mumm, one of the descendants of the founders, took control of the company which is still named G.H Mumm until today.
The history of the Champagne House is written as a human experience marked by the passion of men who set it up.
They travelled throughout the world and handed on liking for the exceptional which had been supplied by boldness and bravery as the decades go by.
Then, the House created a style and a quality of which emblem became the famous red ribbon.
The cellar managers of the House worked and innovated according to tradition. So, they adopted the motto of Georges Herrmann Mumm : “Only the Best”.
Among Champagne jaunts, a visit in the cellars of Champagne Mumm can’t be overlooked.
You will be carried away in an exceptional world, in the maze of cellars of the House, by a scenography worthy of its international reputation.
Dinners can be also organized for 30 until 200 people in the typically Champenois G.H. Mumm Cellar, digged into the Champagne chalk.
