Taittinger Champagne is one of the rare products in the Champagne range still to bear the name of those who own and run it.
Deep in the chalk pits (crayères) dug in the 4th century, sixty feet below the remains of the Saint-Nicaise Abbey, time does its work – several million bottles of champagne spend between 36 months and 10 years there, depending on the vintage.
