Go for a stroll in this beautiful and traditional Champagne burg which became famous thanks to Dom Pérignon. He was the cellarer of the abbey and created, at the end of the 17th century, the method that consisted in converting wine into Champagne.
Through a signposted route, you will see the various wrought iron signs which decorate the front of houses, the wash-house and the abbey. In the countryside, you will discover this monument built between 1405 and 1527 in honour of the Virgin Mary. You will enjoy sculptures and about a hundred gargoyles more original the ones than the others. Web site
