Stroll round the Norman style

In the western part of the Montagne de Reims, you will find a series of Norman style churches. Built between the 10th and the 12th century, they are all crowned by square or rectangular towers with two pitches at the end, the “bâtières” bell-towers as they are called.
The most outstanding are : the churches of St Julien of Courville, St Rémi of Poilly, these of Savigny s/ardre, Chambrecy, Coulommes-la-Montagne, Crugny, Faverolles, Lagery ...
