A very attractive mansion built in 1545, with various decorative features from the Renaissance. Look out for the particularity of the entrance porch – originally, the rue du Dr Jacquin did not exist, and carriages had to enter the inner courtyard at an angle which is why the arch is asymmetric. The caryatids on either side are often known as Adam and Eve. You should also take a look at the frieze’s three elegant busts.
